Brainscans, LLC ("Brainscans") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. Specific information that you provIDe about your health or medical condition will not be used for any purpose other than to provIDe it to the radiologist who will be performing the MRI scan on you. Certain other information, such as name, internet address or screen name, billing address, credit card number, will, of course, be shared with the credit card company and the radiologist performing the scan so that you are able to have the scan. We may also use that information to let you know of additional updates or new information about brain tumors or brain cancer. If you do not want to receive any additional updates, simply let us know.
We do not use or disclose information about your indivIDual characteristics or information to any commercial companies. We do, however, aggregate certain statistical "ratings" information about the use of Brainscans.com and, without IDentifying indivIDuals, may use data collected about age, gender or cellular telephone usage in order to understand better whether there are any common characteristics to people who suffer from brain abnormalities or disorders. Such generic information may be utilized for professional study or publication.
In the future, if our Privacy Policy changes, we will inform you of those changes by posting the changes on our site so that you will be informed as to how we gather and utilize information and whether we disclose it to anyone.
